My debut EP to inspire listeners with Life’s Journey- Ginny

Budding act, Aluko Oluwatosin, popularly known as ‘Ginny’ has announced the forthcoming release of his debut extended play(EP) entitled ‘Heavy Crown’.

According to Ginny, the tracklist of the much expected EP is meant to drive his listeners into the journey of his life and inspire them.
he said “my forthcoming EP, is going to tell my story and drive my listeners through the journey to how I got here’

The music maker who featured other rising acts like himself that grew up with him, in the the yet to be released EP, gave the reason for his choice.
According to him “all the features on my EP are people that were around me when I discovered my talent, and I also watched them groom theirs, so they are part of my story and journey. Thankfully, we are all doing well today”.

“It was right to feature them, most of them are recognized globally today. I also have a song on the project I did with a friend in the industry that I respect a lot, and it was a blessing to have him grace my debut project”.
On what to expect from the EP that will be out by July, he said “My fans, old and new should expect music that give people the answers to their challenge. I know everyone has a gift and most people battle with using the gift, some are anxious and worried, some get tired and begin to see the gift as a burden. I felt all this way too and still feel some you know, so, the EP provides answers to every soul bearing God’s gifts and beyond”.

Describing the songs on the eight-track piece of work, he said “I tried creating My EP to be a general language of sound, a sound that should appeal to every listener’s ear, but, the sounds of genres attached to it are Afrobeat, Grime, and Hip hop.’
“Also, my big brother in the industry Vector tha Viper, is pushing a huge agenda for the rap scene, which is Rapfro Beats, so, of course I made some Rapfro Beats too”, said Ginny.

Ginny collaborated mostly, with music producer, Stephkeyz on his soon to be released project, and it was a dream come through.
“I shared the dream of how I wanted the project to be and it was a seamless chemistry creating every song with my producer, we made a lot of songs, created endless magic with sounds and allowed A&R’s select the ones that are slated to be on the EP”, he said.
